I LOVE THIS LENS. It is hands down the best value you can get. I am amazed at how sharp the images turn out with this, much sharper than the 18-55 Kit lens and for me was way better than the 28-105 3.5-4.5 USM II that I bought, and returned. Colors are great, the 1.8 for indoor photography is awesome and the higher you set the aperture the better it gets. I love this lens. If you spent your $1000+ on a Canon Digital SLR you'd be nuts to not spend another $70 and pick this up. Going out and shooting pictures is a blast, but the icing on the cake is when you get home and they turned out how you imagined. This lens will do that for you. I shoot with a 20D.

<a href=""></a>

There are many stores that sell scrapbooking materials. It sounds like what you need is a class. Some stores have classes as well as demonstrators/consultants of home parties like Stampin' Up!, Creative Memories and Close to my Heart.

I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and I have classes. Hope you find what you need.
You can order products online at my website. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Hi, first of all it can be somewhat overwhelming for new/beginner scrappers, as there is so so much stuff out there, and then how to use it, where to use it, it can make one so distraught and even prevent them from enjoying the craft. A Book Of Me, is simply a book you scrap that is all about you. I guess being you are a total beginner i would say the supplies you need would be paper, ribbon, glue sticks, scissors, stickers, and possibly a craft mat. For the album i would go small to start with, perhaps a paper bag album only costs a few cents and you can add as many pages as you need. It is very simple to do, and you will not get so frustrated. You can also purchase scrap book kits, they get a bit pricey and depending on how large the book is you may need to get more kits, you could probably buy several paper packs for the same as the scrapbook kits, allowing you get other items as want or need them. I like the beginners to start with smaller books as they are not so overwhelming to do, when you look at a 12x12 page with all that open area it can intimidate beginner as well as seasoned scrappers. I hope this helps somewhat, and one thing to remember is before starting is that there are no rules, no right or wrongs, its all about what you like, so take a big deep breath and go for it. And remember to just relax and have fun with it.
